steve reich‘s breakthrough masterpiece drumming builds the starting point and common ground for four independent choreographic works by gregor zöllig, shlomi bitton, lionel hoche and jo strømgren. the recurrent theme is the powerful and hypnotic music which was inspired by reich‘s studies of african drumming.
