the atmosphere in LARGO continuously shifts between reality and irreality, memory and presence, being withdrawn into oneself and letting oneself go, here and there, yesterday and now. in one second, a situation can switch into its exact opposite, a man-woman-relationship can turn into a man-man or woman-woman-relationship. nothing is stable, everything is in permanent transformation. questions like can we trust our perception of reality? or are we what we believe we are? may arise. LARGO uncovers layers deep under the surface, reveals soul landscapes, metamorphoses of being and observing. in 2010 ingun bjørnsgaard received the norwegian critics award for this production.
